La Caldera del Teide” is an immense volcanic crater with diameter of 16 km. Within is situated Teide the highest peak in Spain, high 3718 m. This territory in 1954 was established as a national park and in July 2007 is under UNESCO protection. Together we can discover the cities like Villaflor, Puerto della Cruz, La Laguna,
L’Orotava and Garachico, typical and unchanged canary villages and mysterious places such as like Guimar pyramids and the caves that were inhabited by the native tribe “Guanches”. By boat we can get close and observe the dolphins and small whales, swimming in the crystal clear water of the ocean. There is so much to discover in Tenerife, and we look forward to show you this fascinating island.
La Gomera island is visited all year round by nature lovers. This island because of its trade winds has blooming vegetation with southern and half desert part. The highest part of the island is an area covered by clouds all year round and with the unique vegetation. This area is known as Garajonay National Park that in 1986 is under UNESCO protection. On its territory of 4000 hectares contains more than 400 species of vegetation, among which fifty are endemic plants. In the valley we can see terrace cultivation of bananas, palm trees and other exotic plants. The small beaches from natural sand complete the view, and often the excursions finish exactly on the one of them.
The island of La Palma is called, “The beautiful island”, and it is a real paradise, naturally green, where it’s vegetation has a dominant role and rich with a lot of endemic plants. On the north-east side we can find El Canal and Los Tiles, the laurel woods that since 1983 are famous like Biosphere Reserve. The capital is Santa Cruz Della Palma, fascinating city with rich history, famous by his hand made pine wood balconies presenting the local art. Llano De Aridane is another city that is modern and a famous touristic destination, rich with antique constructionsand churches dated since 17th century. On the east and west coasts of the island there are quiet and solitary beaches that can provide all tourist facilities.
The island of Hierro was called “Finis Terrae” and until the discovery of America was considered to be the end of the world, and still this island counts for the most savage in the archipelagos. The island of Hierro alternates woods of evergreen Laurisilva, desert countryside, volcanic expanse and small gulfs and natural pools. The savine trees folded by the wind leave quite an impression. The triangle shape of the island came as a result of a huge landslide that occurred 50.000 years ago. The Hierro natives were very pacific people, and the Spanish occupied their territory without any resistance. Hierro is a island that is outside this world but in the same time waits the tourists with open hands
