First day :

The excursion will start on approximately 2350 m. altitude; the path is quite wide sorrounded by Pumice stone and Obsidian.
Along the walk the colors of the area are continuosly changing and in springtime some of endemic plants can really give an impression. Just after our arrival to the refugee camp " Altavista ", 3260 m. we will hawe a dinner and take good night rest.

Second day :

After our good night rest we have an early wake up and we can departure towards Teide's peak, with frontal light illuminating our way. The path goes through lava flow all the way to the crater. Getting near to the peak we can feel the sulphur smell, just about reached on the highest in Spain. Now remains to waite the moment that we all came for, the sunrise that seen from this point ib breathtaking. The mountain casts its shadow above the ocean all the way to island of Gomera. When there is a clear sky we can see La Palma, El Hierro, Grancanaria and La Gomera ilands. After these magical moments we will head downhill and reach our vehicle. Sunrise on Teide's Peak ! 3718 m.
